Personalized charms

nomination charms aka ‘lovelinks’ originate from the BCE centuries. Historically there are four cultures in which these started around the same time; Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians and Hittites. With the passage of time ‘Lovelinks’, another commonly used term, they have found popularity in all cultures and religions. Followers of different faiths can personalize charms according to their faiths. Therefore Christians often wear different types of crosses, angels, Madonna, Baby Jesus, Jesus charms. They also wear Christmas related charms such as mistletoe, pine trees etc. Jews are often seen wearing the star of David, Menorah, The word chai, or a Hamesh Hand. Muslims wear the names of God, esp. Allah, The prophet’s name, Hand of Fatimah, which is also known as Khamsa, and the Kaaba.  Hindu’s are often seen wearing an ‘Om Asta Mangala’, ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’, Mantra, prayer wheels, and Lotuses. They also wear different zodiac signs.
